The Electric Paint Sprayer - Top Electric Paint Spray Gun is perfect for applying thin materials such as stains and sealers for tasks like re-staining decks, refurbishing outdoor furniture, sealing wooden decorations, and more. With adjustable patterns and material flow, the Control Spray is user-friendly and allows you to achieve the results you want.
Quick Setup Instructions:
Step 1: Preparation.
Cover or remove all items and areas that should not be painted.
Step 2: Check paint viscosity.
- First, mix the paint well. Use the viscosity cup to time how long the paint takes to pour out. - This will provide a D.I.N. The maximum viscosity for this sprayer is 50 seconds (for a 2.5mm nozzle). - Below you will find the suggested viscosity D.I.N.
Step 3: Thin the paint.
- To ensure your paint has the correct viscosity, you will need to thin it using a suitable solvent, depending on whether the paint is water or solvent-based. - Follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing paint and solvent. - A clean bucket and stirring stick can be helpful for this process.
Step 4: Fill the container.
- Strain the paint using a fine filter funnel to eliminate any debris that could clog the spray gun.

Step 5: Set the spray pattern and flow rate.
Step 6: Plug in the sprayer and start painting.
- Position the Spray Gun approximately 250mm to 300mm away from the surface.
- Maintain a steady motion with the spray gun; avoid concentrating on a single point for too long.
- If you require a thicker coat, apply 2 to 3 layers with a thinner coat in between, allowing each layer to dry completely. Avoid applying a thick coat all at once, as it may cause sagging.
- A cross pattern technique is suggested: begin with horizontal strokes and finish with light vertical strokes.

Step 7: Clean-Up.
When you finish painting, it is CRUCIAL to clean the spray container and tube. - Empty the contents of the cup. - Use a rag soaked in solvent to wipe out any residue in the cup. - Take out the filter at the base of the feeding tube. - Fill the cup halfway with water or solvent. - Spray and continue until the solution is clear.
